Jennifer is a marriage and family therapist from rural southern Manitoba. She was raised in a farming community, with her grandparents owning a farm just a few miles from her family’s home. Her father worked on both her grandparents’ farm and her great uncle’s farm. As a child, Jennifer spent her summers helping with farm chores, bonding with the animals, and “helping” by riding in the tractors. Through these experiences, she developed a deep appreciation for the hard work and long hours invested in farm life. To this day, she finds peace and grounding in being outdoors.
As a young adult, Jennifer had the privilege of working on a cattle station in Australia for several months. This vast operation, which spanned over one million acres and raised more than one million head of cattle, further deepened her admiration and gratitude for the farming lifestyle.
Jennifer’s passion for helping others and building meaningful connections has shaped her career, which spans over 20 years in service to others. She works with individuals, youth, couples, and families, both individually and relationally. She is committed to creating a safe and confidential space where each person’s unique experiences can be heard and understood. As a relational therapist, she approaches her work from a systems perspective, allowing for a deeper understanding of the complexities in relationships, especially when balancing the demands of busy work and personal lives. Her goal is to support growth and healing, always keeping a client-centered approach.
